wind directions, Best SW, S, and potentially E but not tried, SE would work so would a slight NW if the wind comes past the mount.
this is the over spill car park not the park itself, look left as you come through the barrier, you'll see a field with a path going round it.
There may be work going on soon to sort the drainage but until and after its all good.
to watch out for: if council say no, dont fly, dont jeapodise what we have earned, dont fly anywhere else except the overspill, take your litter home Watch out for Hoof prints (big time ankle breakers) horses and dog walkers, and events as this is used as a car park etc.
The fun: awesome on an SW , use jumps down the bank, massive air to be had, harder coming back the other way but still plenty of fun, can be a bid squally at times and can cause some brown trouser action, so be careful before committing big, get the feel of it with a few runs
The field has an area of loose gravel right in the dip so be careful, just after this the bank rises and causes some thermals, can get some big boosts at this end of the field too, careful of the fence and bushes lol, you can go big here.
Field is great for buggying too, pleny big enough for some big speed runs, tricks and all the usual fun.
TRICKS to TRY,
Anything just make it BIG, some huge jumps possible, whether you meant to or not, use the left hand path a boost run to gain speed before hitting the grass, or use it as your own ski lift if you can hold the line and tack back up (ive been over the fence and through it several time lol)
at the bottom on the hill (SW) some nice boosts to be had,
ENJOY

we got permission for Peter moony one of the councellors running the parks, please dont forget though that the field has just been redone for the drainage, we were allowed to fly until this work was carried out and once it had commenced no flying would be allowed until into the new year.
this is to allow the grass to establish itself, i wouldnt try flying again until spring and then only on the overspill car park, the first field as you drive in through the the main entrance, on the left through the large low barrier
