The bowl and the leas
The Leas - marks the beginning of the National Trust's two-mile stretch of coastline reaching to Lizard Point and taking in Souter Lighthouse. This area of special scientific interest is ideal for cycling and walking, with dedicated cycle and walk ways along the coast road going from the seafront at South Shields to Marsden and Whitburn.
The field works on a sse east ne north as it is blowing from the sea to the road you need to use kite killers or have a working safty system
No problems flying hear but respect other users lots of dogs around aand they will pee on your gear if you leave it lying around plenty of pubs in area for toilets and a meal or dutch courage
The bowl this is the slope part at the far end near south shields also known as gypsy green its great as it adds 3D riding into the mix,it works well on Nnw and North North east keep safe here as close to the road and limited space so fly carefull not advised for the newbie but it has good clean winds usally and is amazing for jumping off the lip watch for rabbit holes on the bottom most are in the bank at the sea side of the field
