my first real kite buster 3m

After spotting some guys on the bus tooled up to the max with flexi blades and kite boards i thought these goastbuster guys look pritty cool how hard can it be

The internet the wonderfull place that it was i could find no information on how to fly these things it was the dark ages back then in 1999  but i could find a buster 3m for 120 quid so i went halfs with my flat mate and bought one .When it came i was impressed with the kite it was blue and shiney crispy to the touch well i knew nothing to compair  it to so i set out and slung it on my back with the handels up the side trying to get the goastbuster look not quite right so off we  went to a field with my mate and of course there was trees all around it and people playing football in the middle but what did know ,he said you first
So out the bag she came pulled the handels back .....No one said to me start in low winds lol it must have been around 30 to 35 mph gusting  with the trees nice
Up goes the kite i shot up after it anyone who says there is no lift for a 3m buster try it in 30mpy gusts i supermaned and landed in a heap get dragged across the field through the game of football but not letting go of my shinney new kite straight into a headge wham ... then let go no kite killers (stupid wanted to save a tenner )when i got the kite back  what a mess so manny knots in the lines it took 4 hours to untangle the birds mess

My mate that went halfs with me said i could keep it ,the fact  of a ripped pair of jeans felling stupid angry shouts and laughter from footballers and and a cut to my arm when i got dragged wasnt so good

All these years later the kite is still  around Steve  bozone now has it and it has proved to be a nice stable kite great to get to grips with the wind window
