Bandit 3

Well i have given this kite a bit of a thrashing now so can give you a bit of a insight
 
Coming from the delta range from Best the Kahhona (flown for 1 year or so )I found that the new Bandit was a lot like  the Kahoona of course the build  was a little more on the heavy side with loads of dracon in this kite giving it reinforcement in all the stress areas
 
I have found that the bandit 3 a very lively kite and turned a little faster and aggressive than the Kahoona which needed  a little more omf in the turn.Wind range... . I'm finding that i can get going on the B3 11m in around 13 knots where the 11.5 Kahoona needed just a little more to get going at 80kg on a 134cm board and the top end is great but sweet spot for me is 15 Knots to around 24knotts but that's when its still fairly powered you could hold it a bit more if you wanted to depower it more.

The B3 has got the one pump system and flys on and 4 line bar with equal lengths and a mini 5th line. On the B3  both front lines run a pulley system which works a bit like a 5th line and gives the kite almost full depower just sitting on its back when safety is deployed waiting for you to relaunch . When relaunching you can  just pull one side of the bar and the kite will make its way to the side of the wind window and up she goes no drama same as the kahoona and all other deltas , personally i think that the delta kites are supper easy to relaunch and easy to progress with and a great kite all round kite if your into jumping big and floaty freeride and also freestyle  you cant go wrong
 
 I'm only just trying  to unhook so can't comment to much on that side of things  only to say when you do  unhook it flys forward in the window and pulls nice and steady and reacts well to your input.
 
 The B3 comes with bag nice and big to keep it safe although the  bag is white and gets dirty quick but unzips as normal if you want to leave struts inflated you get a very limited spares pack and no pump which is a little disappointing

Overall a good all round  kite but comparing it  to the Kahoona its very similar but with  more top end and quicker more power in the turn and loops,a great build with one pump you cant go wrong a joy to fly
