After having my first outing to here this year i thought i'd share just how immense this spot is!
It gets really clean winds 90% of the time and is sooooo huge its great for learning jumping/tricks as there is nothing to get dragged into or hit for miles. You can also do some fantastic safaris right across the bay (the odd channel to jump!) right over to wharton or Barrow just make sure ya don't join the cockle pickers!!!
Its usable (weather permitting) from April to October whenever the hight tide is below 8.5m for at least a couple of days so the silty sand dries out as you can see from the vid below its such a smooth surface and that was on the sunday when the tide had encroached a fair bit!!!
I will post on here when i am going so your more than welcome to tag along theres a fantastic campsite right next to the beach http://www.redbankfarm.co.uk/ see ya there!!
