Budle Bay
A flat water spot just round the corner from Bamburgh beach. It is a greatlagoon that fills up 2 hours before high tide and empties 2 hours after high tide. Relatively shallow in . Really beautiful spot.
Wind Direction :
Works in anything from SW to E with WNW being onshore.
Hazards:
The current can be super strong in SW->NW wind and an outgoing tide so be carefull . Better on an incoming tide. There is also not a lot of beach at high tide, the spot is great for all levels.
Restrictions:
Please be aware that Budle Bay is closed to kitesurfing from November 1st to the end of March due to the site being on a migratory route for many species of birds . also note that you can not kite past the boye or in the bottom end of the laggoon plese dont get the locals banned
